How to split a weekly dose across injections
Splitting spreads one weekly total across several smaller injections. The per-injection amount is just the weekly total divided by how many injections you take; adding your vial concentration turns each into units.

Worked example: 140 mg/week of 200 mg/mL, split into two
A 140 mg weekly total of a 200 mg/mL solution, taken as two injections:
- Per injection (mg) — 140 mg ÷ 2 = 70 mg.
- Volume — 70 mg ÷ 200 mg/mL = 0.35 mL.
- Units to draw — 0.35 mL × 100 units/mL = 35 units per injection.
- Weekly total is unchanged — 2 × 70 mg = 140 mg.
